It was organized for the first time in Poland in 2009, in Cieplice Śląskie Zdrój. The originator and organizer of the Karkonosze Festival of Light is Mr. Robert Futerhendler, a professional architect and "privately" co-owner of the Caspar Hotel*** Restaurant.

In 1982, the Street Theater Festival was organized for the first time in Poland in Jelenia Góra - a unique event worth seeing.

The International Ski Event has been taking place since 1976 on the Jakuszycka Glade. The race had its summer version, at the end of August.

This year (2013) it was held for the 28th time. Over the years, it has changed its rank, including the status of a round of the European Championships. In 2008, it returned as a qualifying round for the Polish Championships.
